About Project
uOttawa: Redesign

Designed the primary uOttawa website (uOttawa.ca) and many of its’ subdomains. Design decisions where based on stakeholder interviews, usability research, information architecture, responsive design and accessiblility.

GOAL: User focused website, focusing on current and new students while promoting universities’ history, diversity, bilingualism, and the recent investments in infrastructure.

Project in collaboration with OpenPlus.ca, Neo Insigt and uOttawa

Responsibilities:

  • Create wireframes, prototypes and final designs for desktop and mobile devices while following strict Universities’ Corporate Identity Guidelines.
  • Design a fully accessible website (WCAG-AA)
  • Presented ideas to stakeholders, gather feedback and implement changes. Led and/or participated in various stakeholder meetings.
  • Create a style guide for the new website, and help create the IA in order to accommodate over 900 sites from 65 faculties.
  • Work with Marketing and Communication, Front-end and Back-end Developers, and UX Researches
